The day started off as any other Saturday; I woke up extremely early on a day off, drank my cup of coffee, watched some episodes of "Boy Meets World" and then, by my surprise received probably the best news (or should I say, someone strong came to lift off all the weight placed on my family's shoulder) -- it was wonderful, and came just in time. From that point on, my Saturday manifested into one of the most relaxing and loveliest. My older sister decided to pay a visit, brought along with her some jewelry that is now in my possession (she knows my taste so well!) and I spent my remaining afternoon/evening/and night with one of my best-friend's, Nicole. Or should I call her Elizabeth? ;-) ("I Spy Ella" reference....soon, this book I am writing will fall into place - hey, I'm still living life!) We spent the warm, breezy day eating frozen yogurt, eating healthy spinach wraps, drinking coffee and tea, listening to the best music, writing, watching Moulin Rouge, and ultimately just soaking-in the grand details of life, most 19 year olds miss out on.
It's insane to think about how much has changed and evolved in just 4 years. My 14 year old self was so oblivious and caught up in unnecessary life-tangents. Graduating from a high school truly brought many things and relationships into perspective. I love that I have baskets of amazing-ness to still experience; God is so good. Remaining close to Him keeps me grounded, and assures me that my future will, without a doubt, be okay.
