I saw It in the wind - kneeling beside a rose bush - weeping, sighing, hopelessly attempting to hold on
I had been searching for It for centuries now to thank It. I was moments from taking my final breath
but I had to see It one last time - embrace It - tell It, that I had lived the greatest life
Why did It look so solemn? I was confused; It was infinite, immortal, It never seized to exit....
"I don't want you to go! You welcomed me with open arms when faith was all lost... please don't go" It screams in between sobs.
Me? but I can't do anything about leaving... I can't. My time, for the time being is over.
I couldn't find the words to say this to It; they just didn't escape my lips
walking up to It, I kneel down beside, and look It gently in the eyes -
"Don't worry, there are others like me... soon, the whole world will accept you, believe in you, and let you in" I say to It.
"and if they don't?" It cries back....
"You're Love after all, and let me tell you something - Love conquers All" I say, as I get up and take my last steps Home.
