"Brown Eyes in The Distant"
It's Spring, perfect perfect Spring, finally. For some strange reason, I am just super excited to go to school today. Feeling absolutely amazing, I pick out my favorite white dress, pin my hair with a bow, and put my glasses on. The light breeze feels wonderful against my bare skin - "It is so beautiful out!!!" I think out loud. Spring is my favorite season; the flowers bloom, the trees gain back their green coats, and the sun is just perfect. Also, the fact that my birthday falls in this season has nothing to do with it (at least, that's what I tell people). Just as my mom drops me off onto my school's parking lot, I notice something unusual - rather, someone... leaning against the tree I wait for my best friend at. Okay....stranger I've never seen before, what are you doing? I keep saying over and over in my head as I walk up to it. Wait. Is this going to be awkward? should I just wait for Lola in homeroom? With my non existent skills of being able to strike up a conversation with the opposite sex, I avoid the tree entirely and hurry to homeroom.
"Hey! Woah...wait" a distant , unfamiliar, MALE voice cries out.
Crap. Oh my gosh... please don't be me.. please don't be me...As I turn around, the stranger by the tree is jogging up to me with a huge smile across his face.
"A little too eager to get to class 30 minutes before school starts, eh?"
What does he want with me? He looks like a senior... why does he want to talk to 14 year old me?? I quickly adjust my hair, rub my clammy hands on the sides of my dress, and realize I haven't even said one word. Crap.
"Sorry. Did I startle you? Of course I did - you don't even know me. Let's start over. I'm Seth, Seth Eisley."
Seth Eisley... what a hot name. Oh, he's gorgeous... brown eyes, curly hair, fair skin, he looks like he works out... gosh, I'm drooling. As I try to speak, he interrupts again,
"It's okay.. you don't have to say anything. I just wanted to introduce myself. I see you and your blonde friend meet up by that tree everyday before school, and I was just awfully curious about the timid brunette who hides behind her glasses."
Timid? hides behind glasses? is he insulting me? Ugh. I can't even tell - his smile is crooked and so incredibly sexy. My gosh.
"Anyway.... is it okay if we meetup formally tomorrow? I'd love to hear your voice this time around." He says.
Oh my gosh.... "uh.....y-y-yeah, t-t-that's f-f-fine...." I'M STUTTERING. WHY AM I SO LAME?! Surely, he's making fun of me, and going to tell his friends all about the retarded freshmen who couldn't talk.
"Awesome." He says with that godly smile - "See you tomorrow, Ella."
And before I could ask where he knew my name from, he turned and walked away.
