About ME, and why I chose 'Ella.'

Hi! Bonjour! Hola!

I am not sure why I haven't taken the time to discuss who is behind "I Spy Ella" ~ because I figured whomever reads this blog knows me in person, but come to my surprise, I have some foreign readers (yay!)

How do I even start this? If someone would have asked me to write a paragraph about myself back when I was 16, my paragraph would have turned into a 15 page essay. Now, all I can muster is - Hello, my name is Brisaela Arredondo, I like cheesy cheese-ness *awkward smile* : )
okay, no... that is not all I like. For starters, no one even knows me by my full name (Brisaela) because it is so dang complicated to say if you're not Mexican. Yeah, my father thought it'd be unique to make-up a name that apparently signifies, "The ocean's breeze" Which is super cool, since my nickname is 'Brizzy' pronounced  like, "Breezy." Hoorah! Now, that we've established that, I am an (almost) 19 year old brown eyed brunette  with many curiosities. (Does this post have to be formal? because I honestly want ya'll to read this as if I am talking to you in person because usually this is how it goes. I break into unnecessary tangents that end up making no sense at all.) I never really knew how to talk to people in person - I mean, I am no hermit....but since my mind is faster than my tongue - things get jumbled and awkward.
Anyway, I love acting. Not just, "oh...I can sometimes throw on a costume and pretend to be someone else - yeah that's cool" no. I am fervently attached and bewitched. When I am given a script and spend time getting to know and become that character, it is such an escape. I am taken aback and kept in such a surreal momentum. I want to pursue acting as a career - I want to inspire struggling, young women like myself when I am able to show that despite life's circumstances and realities - dreams are entirely attainable.
Above all, I want to make God proud. So, if acting and fame is a path He doesn't have planned for me - it will be tough to accept, but I will oblige and go where He leads me. After all, He is in charge of my life. I live for Him and only Him.
A part from acting, I am rather passionate about writing. Though not the most educated or skilled (still learning as I go) writing is another form of release for me. I tend to be exceptionally reserved with my emotions (in person, obviously) and having journals, blogs, dainty papers spread around truly help me not go absolutely mad for bottling everything up. That still happens occasionally, unfortunately. But I am here
The 'here' is so important to me. I tend to be a person who travels back in time for reminiscing purposes (memories are held near and dear to my heart, always) but diving into the past can, at times, be dangerous - reason being, getting stuck back there is inevitable. I don't want to be stuck wandering through past ventures. I need to be in this moment, right now - living. breathing.

  • Hmmm... I went off track, didn't I? well, I also want to be a high school English teacher, or a maybe a psychology teacher? (not my best subject but.... still my favorite subject! Psychology is so fun and interesting!!)  Our mind is so insane!!! I love it!
  • uhm. I like roses. no, I LOVE roses. Hence, why I gave myself the middle name Rose. My parents were lame and didn't give me a middle name - boooo.
  • The colors: Pale Pink, Red, all Browns, Robin's Egg Blue, and Mustard Yellow are probably the best colors on planet earth... but then again, I am not prejudice against any other colors. Those are just my favorite.
  • I legitimately am Lea Michele's doppelganger. Really. Do you watch Glee? You'll see.
  • I am the creeper taking pictures of everything and everyone. Yup. That's me.
  • Whimsical and Incandescent are my favorite words, and they basically sum up who I am. No conceit - just honesty. :- )
  • If I don't have my nails painted, something is very wrong.
  • Eyeballs are AMAZING. I am obsessed with eyes. I can read someone's soul with just one glance. (okay, I am not that weird... but really... eyes tell all.)
  • Though, I am beyond heterosexual, there are some females (like Miranda Kerr) who I'd probably go lesbian for. It's really a form of admiration more than anything; I aspire to be like those beautiful women. There's an undeniable sensuality about a woman - if you deny it, you're lying.
  • Smelling good is so important to me. oh mah lanta.
  • coffee saves my life
  • Music is my one and only true boy friend (as cliche as that sounds.) Music both breaks and heals my heart.
  • I am kind of addicted with clothes and shopping
  • Romantic isn't just a mushy-gushy adjective - it's a lifestyle.
  • I've never had a boyfriend. ~PLOT TWIST~
  • I wear a purity ring and yes, I plan on waiting to have sex until I am married.
  • I've lived in Texas before. But I am a California gal.
  • I used to be epileptic or just a little kid who couldn't handle any extreme emotion. From ages 1 to 7, I'd get seizures each time I got dizzy, or felt really really sad, excited, or angry. Isn't that strange? Now that I am older, I can handle myself.. but there are still moments when I feel as if my feelings become too big - I feel I am being swallowed hole. Usually, those become anxiety attacks. fun...
  • I LOVE CHILDREN... but I don't want any of my own.
  • I've had 3 near-death experiences - all when I was little.
  • "Love conquers all" is my moto and my biggest faith system.
Now, for 'Ella.' Why did I choose that name, you may ask? well, it's simple - Let's sound out my full name, (Bree-sigh-ELLA) Yes, that's how you pronounce it. All confusion washed away now? I hope so. Ella just has such a delicate, elegant ring to it - I am in love with that name. Disappointed that wasn't my nickname, cause Brizzy sounds unprofessional ... but I won't complain further.

I typed a novel. Yeah, I am dramatic ... if that wasn't apparent with my first post.
I hope I've given you enough to ensure comfort and trust.

p.s. Thank you so much for taking time to read my blog.... honestly. I don't always make sense, but it's nice knowing you care. So, thank you

STAY GOLDEN
