My favorite artists!

I think it's only fair to show you who I am highly fond of and when I listen to them most. You see, I am all about emotion and detail when it comes to music. I have to be in a specific mood for specific songs - so I will break it down for you:

When I'm happy, excited, driving around with friends, and just wanting to dance... these artists rock my socks: - St. Lucia - CHVRCHES - HAERTS - HAIM - Betty Who - The Weeknd - Marina and The Diamonds - Sia - The Neighbourhood - Bastille - Tegan and Sara - Ghostland Observatory - Foster The People - Magic Man - The 1975 - Tove Lo - Betty Who - HolyChild

When I'm sad, deep in thought, nostalgic, and confused: - The Jezabels - We The Committee - Radiohead - Bad Books - Meg Myers - Andrew Belle - The Civil Wars - Dillon - Lemolo - Daughter - Birdy - City and Colour - Adam Agin - Big Scary - The National - Paul Cook & The Chronicles - Heathers - Stars - The Xx - Lia Ices - Angus & Julia Stone

When I'm calm, not happy nor sad, wanting to just relax and breathe
: - Mumford & Sons - Sara Bareilles - Imagine Dragons - Vocal Few - X Ambassadors - Passenger - Mree - Grace Potter & The Nocturnals - MS MR - Imaginary Friend - Dresses - Gabrielle Aplin - Cai.ro - Angel Olsen - Laura Marling - Lily Kershaw - The Careful Ones - Modest Mouse - The Dear Hunter - Noah and The Whale - Lana Del Rey - Lorde - Florence + The Machine - Sleeping At Last - The Hush Sound - Lipstick Lumberjack

Of course these artists aren't subjected to just one category; they all can be mixed and matched. It honestly depends what I feel like at the moment. Sometimes, I'll play Katy Perry for 3 hours, and then I'll go to Ella Fitzgerald, and end with Beethoven. Yes, some of my absolute favorites. Music is beautiful that way...

Everyone listed above are just a handful of the many MANY I've kept ears on. I'll eventually add more. For now, these are the ones I can say, with 100% certainty are worth adding to your playlists.
